Expanding GPU Access and Network Transparency

To meet the growing demand for AI and gaming computing power, Aethir is expanding its network by adding more GPU providers and computing centers. This means more people worldwide can access the platform and its powerful resources.

Facilitating this expansion is the New Horizons Cloud Host Portal, designed to simplify the process for GPU providers joining the Aethir network. As a result, Aethir has grown its network to over 380,000 GPUs.

Further supporting this growth, Aethir is onboarding new staking partners who will play a crucial role in securing new GPU supplies by staking ATH tokens.

Aethir's focus on expanding GPU accessibility is essential to meet the growing demands of the AI and gaming industries. By scaling up its decentralized computing capabilities, Aethir is constructing a robust infrastructure capable of powering the next generation of AI and gaming innovation.

And to provide even greater transparency into this growing network, Aethir has launched a comprehensive GPU Dashboard. This interactive tool offers a real-time view of the network's GPU resources, including the number of GPUs available, their utilization rates, and their geographical distribution.

High Revenue Growth and Transactions in ATH

Revenue Online will offer a comprehensive overview of the network's financial performance, including details on revenue generated from various services, such as AI and gaming workloads. This revenue is generated through the use of ATH tokens, which are used to pay for services on the Aethir network. Aethir is committed to nurturing a vibrant community of developers and projects in the AI and gaming space. A key part of this commitment is the $100 million Ecosystem Fund, designed to provide crucial support to startups and businesses pushing the boundaries of these technologies.

In addition to the Ecosystem Fund, Aethir is also launching the Aethir Catalyst grant program and the TACOM investment fund.

• Aethir Catalyst will provide grants and support to early-stage AI and gaming companies, helping them overcome the initial hurdles of building and launching innovative products.
• TACOM, Tactical Compute, a $40m AI compute initiative, will strategically invest in established AI and gaming companies with strong potential for growth and expansion.
• Xai: A $10 million grant program launched in partnership with Xai, a gaming trailblazer Layer-3 network built on Arbitrum. This program will onboard AI-powered AAA games and gaming studios into the Xai and Aethir ecosystems.  
• XPLA: A $10 million grant program launched in partnership with XPLA, a Tendermint-based Layer 1 blockchain. This program will onboard the most innovative AI-powered AAA games and gaming studios to the XPLA and Aethir ecosystems.  

Aethir Edge will play a crucial role in expanding the Aethir ecosystem. This edge computing platform will support AI workloads, allowing developers to deploy AI solutions closer to the data source. This will improve performance, reduce latency, and enable new use cases for AI.

Updates to the Checker

Aethir Edge: AI + RWA

Aethir Edge is a key component of Aethir's decentralized infrastructure, expanding the ecosystem and supporting AI workloads at the edge. With over 50,000 devices sold, this edge computing platform will also play a crucial role in supporting real-world asset (RWA) applications, bridging the gap between the digital and physical worlds.

By providing the computing power needed to process and analyze data from real-world assets, Aethir Edge will enable new use cases for AI and blockchain technology. This will help to unlock the value of RWAs and drive the adoption of decentralized solutions across various industries.

ATH Token Enhancements

Going Multichain!

Aethir will introduce key enhancements to the ATH token and its multichain functionality.

First,  Aethir will add multichain support for the Sophon ZK chain. This will provide several benefits for the Aethir community, including faster transaction speeds, reduced fees, and improved interoperability with other blockchain platforms.

To enable these multichain functionalities and support the migration to Sophon, Aethir will integrate LayerZero, a leading provider of omnichain interoperability solutions. This integration will allow Aethir to seamlessly connect with various blockchain networks, expanding its reach and providing more flexibility for users.

Aethir is also planning to expand to Solana, a high-performance blockchain known for its speed and scalability. This strategic move will further enhance the ATH token's utility and accessibility, opening up new opportunities for the Aethir community within the Solana ecosystem.  

To facilitate these multichain expansions, Aethir will leverage Stargate, a leading cross-chain bridge protocol. Stargate will enable seamless and secure transfer of assets between Aethir and other blockchain networks, including Solana. This integration will further enhance the interoperability and accessibility of the ATH token, providing more flexibility and opportunities for users across various blockchain ecosystems.  

Taking Staking to the Next Level

Finally, Aethir will leverage Eigenlayer for restaking. This will enable ATH token holders to maximize their yield and earn additional rewards by restaking their tokens on Eigenlayer and other compatible platforms.

These token and multichain enhancements are designed to improve the utility and functionality of the ATH token, providing more value and opportunities for the Aethir community.

Decentralized Governance

Aethir is shifting towards a decentralized governance model, putting more power in the hands of ATH token holders. This means the community will have a greater say in shaping the future of the platform.

This transition will be implemented gradually, starting with the development of core elements like smart contracts and voting mechanisms. Aethir will then focus on educating the community about the new governance model and onboarding stakeholders through workshops and interactive sessions.  

A beta version of the governance system will be rolled out to gather feedback and ensure smooth functionality before the full launch. Once fully launched, the governance structure will be divided between the Council, responsible for day-to-day operations, and the Foundation Board, overseeing major initiatives and treasury-related decisions.  

ATH token holders will have the power to vote on proposals, with staked ATH (veATH) granting enhanced privileges and voting power. Two years post-launch, token holders with over 5% of the circulating supply can even propose changes directly.  

Aethir is building a future where the community has a real say in how the platform evolves. The goal is simple: keep Aethir aligned with what its users actually want and need. This focus on decentralized governance shows how much Aethir values transparency, community involvement, and shared ownership.
