Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud and the ATH token are transforming AI and gaming with scalable, cost-effective computing solutions. Aethir’s DePIN stack is the only enterprise-grade GPU-as-a-service platform capable of powering AI and gaming workloads at scale. Our GPU network is monitored by 91,000+ Checker Nodes responsible for ensuring that all of our 425,000 GPU containers provide the same premium quality services to all clients at all times. Checker Nodes are rewarded with daily ATH token rewards for their role in the Aethir ecosystem. The same goes for stakers. 

All compute power in the Aethir ecosystem is staked with ATH, meaning that ATH stakers contribute to our GPU network's overall stability and daily operations. Cloud Hosts, our GPU compute providers, also earn ATH as rewards for providing our enterprise clients with decentralized GPU cloud computing power, the same way as Aethir Edge operators earn daily ATH rewards.

Still, apart from its core roles in the Aethir ecosystem, it also has numerous additional use cases across the broader AI, gaming, and Web3 sectors. Thanks to numerous partnerships with industry leaders and innovators, ATH is a multifunctional token with various exciting benefits that are constantly expanding.

Multi-Chain Expansion: Why ATH on Solana Matters for AI Builders

Going multichain was on the ATH token roadmap from the start. ATH officially went live on the Solana blockchain, marking a historical milestone for the Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud as part of our plan to expand our reach across additional blockchain networks. We already supported innovative AI agent builders on the Solana blockchain, such as ai16z, the elizaOS ecosystem, and Top Hat, earlier with premium GPU computing resources through our ecosystem compute grants. Branching out to the Solana network was a logical next step.

The Solana blockchain is one of the industry-leading Web3 ecosystems with a flourishing decentralized developer community across cutting-edge sectors such as AI agents, gaming, RWA, and DeFi. Our enterprise clients can purchase compute power in Aethir’s GPU-as-a-service network directly on the Solana blockchain, eliminating entry barriers for developer teams leveraging Solana for their AI projects. For retail users, trading ATH tokens on the Solana network opens new possibilities, including access to Solana’s famously low transaction fees.

Supercharging Checker Nodes with NodeFi (Yield Pass)

In a joint venture between Aethir, Beam Foundation, and MetaStreet, we launched Tactical Compute, a $40 million industry-specific AI compute initiative. Shortly afterward, MetaStreet launched Yield Pass, an innovative platform pioneering the NodeFi concept that unlocks additional yield opportunities for Aethir’s Checker Node holders. Instead of just earning standard Checker Node rewards, Yield Pass allows node holders to deposit their nodes and earn additional rewards while unlocking ATH token liquidity and exploring interest-free loans. Yield Pass is a revolutionary financial tool that transforms Aethir’s Checker Nodes into dynamic assets.

With the launch of Yield Pass, Aethir Checker Node holders gained new ways to earn, grow their investments, and simplify their operations, significantly enhancing the utility of their nodes. Node holders can tokenize and trade future node emissions for immediate value and access financing without selling or compromising their holdings. They can also provide liquidity for enhanced returns.

Aethir Joined EigenLayer’s Restaking Infrastructure

EigenLayer’s blockchain staking model is one of the most innovative solutions in the Web3 sector, and Aethir’s decentralized cloud is bringing its $125+ million on-chain revenue to the EigenLayer ecosystem. As a result of the integration with EigenLayer’s staking solution and AVS model, Aethir will simplify the onboarding process for new Cloud Hosts into our ecosystem by enabling retail stakers to provide the staking power needed to cover new cohorts of compute resources in Aethir’s GPU-as-a-service network. Furthermore, the Aethir community will be able to use EigenLayer’s restaking solution to maximize their ATH token yield and earn additional rewards in EigenLayer’s native token, EIGEN.

Through EigenLayer’s blockchain framework, Aethir will empower all participants in the Aethir ecosystem to stake their ATH tokens on EigenLayer. Users will be able to choose validators to which they want to delegate their ATH stake. This will be especially useful for compute providers joining Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud network, as it will simplify the onboarding process for Cloud Hosts outside the Web3 blockchain space. ATH retail stakers will be able to support new Cloud Hosts by providing the staked ATH tokens necessary to onboard new GPU computing resources.

RWA Initiatives: Tokenizing GPU Assets for AI & DeFi

The real-world assets (RWA) sector is rapidly evolving with the rising prominence of AI. New asset tokenization categories are emerging, paving the way for the integration of RWA, DeFi, and AI. The sector has expanded significantly over the past year, with growing regulatory clarity and a wave of innovation from both DeFi-native and institutional TradFi players.

Aethir has recently partnered with Plume to form an RWAI GPU initiative that will enable the tokenization of GPU computing for AI workloads. This initiative shows how RWA can be integrated with cutting-edge technology to explore the RWA tokenization of essential AI development assets such as GPU computing resources. The RWAI Initiative combines Aethir’s $100M Ecosystem Fund and the Plume RWA Ecosystem Fund to explore the vertical of real-world assets in AI-driven markets. The initiative aims to combine tokenized GPU assets with innovative real-world asset strategies to redefine accessibility for retail and institutional investors.

Furthermore, Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud partnered with GAIB to launch an innovative GPU tokenization pilot program on the BNB Chain, enabling direct tokenization of enterprise-grade GPUs and their revenue streams and enabling investors to access GPU-backed assets. Together with GAIB, we will build a decentralized GPU funding marketplace, simplifying access to capital for compute providers and offering investors RWA-backed yields, bridging the gap between blockchain and AI infrastructure.

Introducing AUSD: A Stablecoin for Decentralized GPU Infrastructure

Stablecoins are critical for the Web3 economy, providing much-needed price stability and certainty in volatile market conditions. To enhance our GPU-as-a-service network’s stability and simplify financial transactions for all parties in Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud ecosystem, we introduced AUSD, our native stablecoin, built on Maitrix’s cutting-edge platform for intelligent stablecoins. AUSD is designed to address the unique payment challenges of Aethir’s decentralized GPU ecosystem. 

AUSD is an algorithmic stablecoin designed to bring stability and predictability to the Aethir DePIN stack. It’s pegged to the US dollar, providing a reliable and efficient payment solution for all users. With our native stablecoin, Cloud Hosts will have the option to receive compute provider rewards in a stable currency, increasing trust and participation in Aethir’s decentralized GPU network. Furthermore, it will provide compute buyers with fixed, predictable pricing, enabling developers to focus on innovation rather than navigating volatile financial systems.

Supporting AI Video Generation with ATH

AI video models are revolutionizing the video production market with their practical video-generating capabilities. Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud supports this emerging industry niche with premium GPU computing for AI video generation. Numerous industries are set to benefit significantly from AI video generation software and AI video editing tools.

We joined forces with Lyn AI to support the evolution of video production and advance the adoption of Open-Source video AI technology. Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud will support Lyn AI’s efforts to introduce industry-leading models for advanced AI video generation solutions. The Lyn video AI layer introduces a decentralized video model with accelerated inference, reduced GPU compute costs, AI agent integration, and long-form AI video generation capability. Aethir will support Lyn AI with ATH compute credits, and the two companies will establish a joint $5 million ecosystem development fund for video AI. 

ATH Compute Grants for AI and Gaming Innovators

Last year, we launched our $100m Ecosystem Fund for AI and gaming projects, which features various grant programs together with our partners. The latest additions include our $1 million grant program for gaming innovators together with Xsolla, as well as exclusive compute grants for AI builders tackling Ocean Protocol’s data challenges. Also, Aethir will support the Avalanche Foundation’s infraBUIDL(AI) program for AI developers building on the Avalanche blockchain.

We’ve also rolled out compute grant support for five batches of AI agents, totaling 25+ AI agent projects across a wide range of AI use cases.

Furthermore, we recently launched Aethir Forge, an innovative community program featuring Aethir ForgeMasters, Regional Forges, and the AI Unbundled initiative for AI and Web3. The Aethir Forge program will expand Aethir’s presence across key regions with thriving developer communities. With Aethir Forge, we’ll be able to reach talented AI builders in local communities worldwide and explore ways to support them with premium GPU computing for AI, to create life-changing AI-powered innovations. 

Aethir Forge will empower Aethir’s ambassadors and regional representatives to explore opportunities to activate Aethir in local AI and Web3 ecosystems. By supporting AI builders with ATH compute grants, Aethir is playing a key role in developing and launching industry-shaping innovations.

Driving Decentralized GPU Cloud Innovation with ATH Across AI, Gaming, and Web3

Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure is focused on supporting enterprises with premium GPU computing for AI and gaming.
