One Year Since TGE: A Retrospective of Aethir’s Premium Partnerships

The past year has been an incredible journey for Aethir’s decentralized cloud infrastructure, from our TGE and core product launches all the way to the introduction of major ATH utilities like the EigenLayer ATH Vault. Our AI and gaming ecosystems have grown tremendously to over 150 partners from across the globe, including many of the most innovative projects in the Web3 space. Aethir has built the world's largest decentralized GPU infrastructure ecosystem by pioneering a sustainable, secure, scalable, and cost-effective computing model that can power the most GPU-demanding enterprise workloads. 

Aethir’s success is a collective success of our whole ecosystem, embodying decentralization as the core principle of the Web3 era, which is why we launched the Aethir Tribe community program for onboarding micro-KOL ambassadors.

In this retrospective of Aethir’s partnerships and collaborations, we’ll have a look at some of the most exciting projects we’ve teamed up with since our token generation event in June 2024. 

Launching the EigenLayer ATH Vault

Aethir and EigenLayer’s collaboration is the latest of our premium collaborations, introducing one of the most exciting ATH token utilities so far. We’ve launched the EigenLayer ATH Vault, enabling users to stake ATH and receive eATH (EigenATH) in return. Integrated with EigenLayer’s AVS, this staking pool enables Aethir to onboard compute. New compute providers (Cloud Hosts) can borrow ATH to onboard Aethir’s compute infrastructure while contributing to the broader EigenLayer restaking ecosystem. This new liquid staking token will enable users to earn ATH as staking rewards. All compute in Aethir’s DePIN stack is staked with ATH, and now, community members can support our Cloud Hosts by providing the required ATH stake in exchange for eATH tokens. Once their staking period expires, eATH holders can redeem their tokens for ATH staking rewards derived from Cloud Host compute provider fees.

Checker Node Buyback Program

We unveiled the Checker Node Buyback program to give our loyal community members the option to sell their Checker Node NFTs back to Aethir Foundation in exchange for eATH tokens. Buyback participants can sell their Checker Nodes back, and Aethir will use those nodes to maintain network stability in our DePIN stack. By selling their Checker Nodes, users get eATH, which continues to earn ATH token rewards from Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud compute provider fees during the next year until 13th June 2026, when the tokens will become redeemable for ATH.

Aethir and MetaGravity Teamed up for Next-Level Cloud Gaming

MetaGravity is a global innovator in scalable distributed computing infrastructure for gaming and 3D simulation. Their flagship product, the HyperScale engine, is a revolutionary network engine that allows game developers to easily construct supermassive multiplayer experiences while minimizing costs and time. This innovative technology unlocks the potential for never-before-seen digital experiences, paving the way for unprecedented gaming worlds. By combining MetaGravity's HyperScale engine compute capabilities with Aethir's decentralized GPU infrastructure, supermassive gaming experiences will become a reality in permanent, user-controlled virtual worlds. This may impact not just gaming but potentially the entire digital landscape. 

Partnering With TensorOpera to Support LLM and AI Innovation

Aethir teamed up with TensorOpera, a leading force in the AI industry, focusing on large language model (LLM) training and generative AI. With Aethir's help, TensorOpera’s new foundation model, TensorOpera Fox-1, gained access to the world's largest decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure. The training of TensorOpera Fox-1 is the first mass-scale LLM training use case on a decentralized cloud network. Thus, it represents a pioneering effort in distributed AI technology. The collaboration between TensorOpera and Aethir is the first intersection between Web2 and Web3 for AI training at scale on decentralized cloud infrastructure. LLM training hasn’t been done on decentralized physical infrastructure networks ever before.

Supporting Web3 Innovation on the Solana Network

As part of our global Web3 expansion strategy, we’ve introduced ATH to the Solana blockchain, enabling everyday users, stakers, and compute buyers to facilitate ATH transactions on Solana. By bringing our native token, ATH, and premium GPU resources to Solana, we are not only enhancing accessibility for developers but also cementing Aethir’s role as a key enabler of large-scale AI innovation. Solana’s reputation as an industry-leading blockchain for AI agents, gaming, real-world assets (RWA), and decentralized finance (DeFi) makes it a natural fit for Aethir’s ambitions. As GPU-intensive industries evolve, Aethir is positioning itself to meet the growing demands of enterprises building transformative applications, with Solana serving as a critical gateway.

Empowering Builders on Avalanche with Aethir’s $100M Ecosystem Fund

We formed a strategic partnership with the Avalanche Foundation to support the growth of AI innovation within the Avalanche ecosystem by leveraging Aethir’s computing expertise and GPU resources. Through our $100M Ecosystem Fund, Aethir is supporting the most promising AI projects in the Web3 industry with premium cloud computing resources needed to launch and scale their products. As part of our partnership with the Avalanche Foundation, Aethir supports onboarding AI innovators into the Avalanche ecosystem through the infraBUIDL(AI) Program. This program aims to fuel innovation within the Avalanche ecosystem by funding AI-driven projects that contribute to developing intelligent, next-generation blockchain applications.

Innovating Instant Play Gaming with SuperScale

Aethir's journey to support cutting-edge gaming innovations has led us to partner with SuperScale, a specialist tech company that exists to drive success for mobile games. Aethir and SuperScale are creating an Instant Play cloud gaming solution that allows potential players to immediately try out a game after viewing an online ad for that specific title. This innovative service eliminates the need for complex download processes or any hardware requirements on the player's side. As part of our ongoing partnership, SuperScale conducted two detailed case studies on the potential for user acquisition, retention, and revenue increase with Aethir’s Instant Play streaming technology. The first case study was conducted on Tiny Tower, while the other one used Aethir’s integration with Doctor Who: World’s Apart, the latest game from Relity+. Both case studies revealed that Aethir’s Instant Play technology supercharges user acquisition campaigns regardless of game genre.

Driving Web3 gaming Innovation with GameSwift

GameSwift is a leading one-stop Web3 gaming ecosystem that unites all aspects of the gaming industry from game inception to launch. Aethir’s decentralized gaming infrastructure can smoothly facilitate instant play experiences and mass onboarding of users worldwide into any gaming project or platform that leverages GameSwift's services. Gaming titles from the GameSwift Store that need cloud gaming infrastructure support have quick access to Aethir’s decentralized cloud. The GameSwift infrastructure enables users to seamlessly access their Superchain from any place and any major blockchain network while simultaneously providing interoperable cross-chain data transfers. While GameSwift has the gaming industry know-how, Aethir's GPU cloud specializes in supporting innovative gaming workloads. 

Shaping the Future of Cloud-Native Smart TV Gaming with Return Entertainment

To jumpstart the next evolutionary phase of cloud-native smart TV gaming, Return Entertainment joined forces with Aethir to build a groundbreaking all-in-one solution for gaming studios, game publishers, and TV manufacturers. Together, we are blending our industry-leading enterprise-grade decentralized GPU cloud computing infrastructure with Return Entertainment's premium latency-tolerant streaming platform for smart TV cloud gaming. Return Entertainment recently launched Rivals Arena, the first gaming title on their smart TV cloud gaming platform, powered by Aethir’s streaming technology. Furthermore, to prepare for massive user base growth, Return Entertainment and Aethir agreed to establish a cloud gaming alliance, in which Aethir will provide a reliable, secure, and highly scalable GPU cloud computing power supply to Return Entertainment's cloud gamers.

Combining Distributed GPU Infrastructure with Filecoin’s Decentralized Storage

Aethir and Filecoin Foundation launched an alliance to provide clients with enterprise-grade solutions to support their businesses with decentralized infrastructure. As part of our collaboration with the Filecoin Foundation, Aethir is exploring GPU leasing to Filecoin’s storage providers, thus providing Filecoin’s infrastructure network with a reliable and secure source of GPU cloud computing supplies. Filecoin’s storage providers can borrow GPU capacity from Aethir if they need excess processing power to seal data onto Filecoin’s network. Aethir can seamlessly build an on-demand sealing-as-a-service for Filecoin’s ecosystem storage providers. Furthermore, we can utilize Filecoin’s data storage services to store logs and training data for some AI models trained on our GPU network, such as TensorOpera Fox-1.

GPU Tokenization Pilot Program with GAIB

GAIB, the first economic layer for AI and computing future, aims to reshape the financing model for high-performance computing by tokenizing enterprise-grade GPUs and their revenue. To accomplish this, GAIB and Aethir agreed to launch a GPU tokenization pilot program on the BNB Chain. The tokenization program introduced Tokenized GPUs, an innovative product developed in collaboration with Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure. These tokens are backed by future GPU revenue and platform rewards, creating a new asset class for investors. This allows compute providers to monetize GPU cash flows upfront through tokenization while simplifying financial and operational processes. For investors, tokenized GPUs represent ownership of future GPU revenue and rewards. By combining Aethir and GAIB’s GPU computing expertise, we are creating a tokenized GPU economy, which will benefit the entire AI and Web3 industries globally.

MetaStreet’s Yield Pass: An Exciting Opportunity for the Aethir Community

Our esteemed partners from MetaStreet launched their innovative Yield Pass solution on the NodeFi platform, bringing exciting benefits to Aethir’s Checker Node owners worldwide. Yield Pass is a revolutionary financial tool that transforms Aethir Checker Nodes into dynamic assets, providing our node holders with new, exclusive benefits. With MetaStreet’s Yield Pass, Checker Node holders can tokenize and trade future node emissions for immediate value and access financing without selling or compromising their holdings. Also, they can provide liquidity for enhanced returns. By using Yield Pass, Aethir Checker Node ownership becomes more accessible, flexible, and rewarding, fostering greater engagement within the Aethir ecosystem.

RWAI GPU Initiative Launch with Plume

To support the intersection of AI and GPU computing, Aethir has partnered with Plume Network to launch an RWAI Initiative that combines real-world asset (RWA) solutions and GPUs. Together, we’re pioneering a new frontier in blockchain technology and AI-driven finance, combining tokenized GPU assets with innovative real-world asset strategies to redefine accessibility for retail and institutional investors. This partnership introduced GPUfi, a brand new concept that leverages Aethir’s decentralized cloud computing infrastructure to tokenize GPU-powered assets and combines it with Plume’s RWAfi primitives. Furthermore, Aethir and Plume have agreed to launch the RWAI Initiative, a collaborative effort between Aethir’s $100M Ecosystem Fund and the Plume RWA Ecosystem Fund to explore the convergence of AI, RWA, and decentralized finance.

Powering Reality+’s Doctor Who: Worlds Apart with Instant Play Streaming

Aethir’s industry-leading decentralized GPU cloud infrastructure is powering Doctor Who: Worlds Apart,  the latest game developed by Reality+. Our innovative Instant Play streaming technology which allows users to try games before buying, supports Doctor Who’s user base growth by removing the need for downloads and installations. Instead, players can instantly access the game, explore its strategic deck-building mechanics, and experience Web3 gaming with zero friction. By leveraging Aethir’s cutting-edge infrastructure, Reality+ enhances player engagement, reduces user acquisition costs, and strengthens digital asset security. Aethir’s decentralized cloud gaming infrastructure supports Doctor Who’s journey to onboard players worldwide into its digital trading card game by enabling them to try the game before downloading.

Launching Ecosystem Grant Programs with XAI, XPLA, Polyhedra

During the past year, we’ve launched several grant programs with esteemed partners from across the Web3 space as part of our $100 million Ecosystem Fund for AI and gaming. We launched two exclusive AI gaming ecosystem grant programs worth $10 million each, with XAI and XPLA. As part of these grant programs, Aethir provides compute credits to eligible grantees, while XAI and XPLA provide blockchain infrastructure support for their respective ecosystems. Additionally, we announced an exciting grant program with Polyhedra geared toward supporting innovative AI builders with the infrastructure needed to launch industry-shaping AI solutions.

Aethir’s AI Case Studies with OpenLedger, Raiinmaker, and Inferium

Several of our innovative partners from the AI sector have created case studies showcasing how exactly Aethir’s decentralized GPU cloud is empowering their businesses on an everyday basis. OpenLedger showed how it's transforming the future of specialized AI models with Aethir’s decentralized GPU infrastructure by minimizing computational overhead and leveraging verifiable data and high-performance AI computing. Raiinmaker’s next-generation decentralized data validation and AI annotation platform managed to streamline large-scale AI video,  agent model training, and data validation for enterprise clients, ensuring real-time scalability with Aethir’s GPU support. Inferium’s decentralized infrastructure hub for verifiable inference and AI agents was able to support over 200,000+ inference requests to date, handling 4,000 to 5,000 daily requests without infrastructure constraints thanks to Aethir’s cloud infrastructure.
